For those who have been following the south coast music scene for more years than they care to remember, Steve, Max and Mike will be familiar faces from their days in one of the area’s ‘bands most likely to’ from the late 70’s, Ptarmigam. The band played several landmark gigs in Chichester, being the first rock act to appear as part of the festivities when they almost brought the city to a halt in front of a huge crowd on the cathedral green, and also ending Gala Day performing in Priory Park numerous times.
They went on to form the Alice Cooper / Tubes like High Risk, performing their unique brand of heavy rock theatrics with the inclusion of Nick and Kev, raising eyebrows and packing venues wherever they went.
After the band split in 1983, Kev and Max went on to further success in the 80’s along with Alan (previously in Nightrider with Kev), in All That’s Fiction and A Kind of Fury, whose self produced album Songs About Men and Women sold in very respectable numbers.
Collectively the band have a wealth of experience, including TV and radio appearances, prestigious support shows, various recorded works and gigs at many of the country’s top venues, including the world famous Ronnie Scott’s and Dingwalls in London.
Fame having alluded them, the various members got back together in the mid 90’s with the a new name and a new attitude (but less hair) to go out and enjoy themselves playing a set of songs from acts that had influenced them over the years. From 70’s Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, Alice Cooper and the Tubes, through the 80’s rock of Whitesnake, Gary Moore, Aerosmith and Thin Lizzy, and up to date with the likes of Blackstone Cherry and Roadstar. The band provide an entertaining, fast paced and exciting show, as witnessed by their devoted followers who travel all over the south on a regular basis. It’s a rare treat to see musicians of this calibre for the price of a few pints at your local on a Friday or Saturday night!

Atombuzz the band formed back in 1993. But in 1995 Alex, Natt and Ian became the core. 1993-1996 saw the band working hard trying to make a name for themselves in the local scene and the chaotic live shows became legendary. Also in 1996 an E.P was recorded called the FYG E.P. Sadly tensions in the band were at an all time high and the band was put on ice. Members concentrated on side projects, families, careers and feuds. The band was reborn in 2000 and began rehearsing furiously and playing a couple of shows before tragedy struck and the band was once again put on ice.
2005 saw a stable line up emerge and a healthy rehearsal and gigging schedule followed. Around this time the band recorded D.O.A (decade of alcohol, binge drinking and casual violence) the first recorded output in nearly a decade. The album includes 10 songs written between 1996 and 2005 (the band call it a best of!).2007 saw the line up change and a refocused, reenergized, angrier and louder Atombuzz emerged.
2008 saw the band record and release their second album, Crisis Intervention. 11 Tracks of pure punk bliss
The sound of the band has progressed (regressed) from heavy metal to hardcore punk with heavy Motorhead style influences. Lyrically the band has always written about society and the things that anger them. At times the material has been viewed as comical but all the material has serious undertones despite interpretation.
The band are always looking for opportunities to play live.

Burn the Evidence is a British alternative rock band with a metal edge which formed in 2007. Founded in the Worthing area by rhythm Guitarist Mark Fox and Lead Guitarist Rob Erskine from a mutual respect of heavy, aggro-intensive music. Burn the Evidence's line-up has primarily consisted of Mark and Rob with a few changes along the way. Finally settling with Chris on Drums and, with the departure of Jason, Carl on Bass guitar the band has developed a great song writing and playing dynamic.
Starting first in Mark's basement, and then onto a professional studio, BTE's earliest songs included such crowd favourites as Take You Down, Come Undone, and Bullet-proof.
Adding more songs along their way, they have now built up a strong fan base in the Worthing area, often drawing the largest crowd at their gigs, despite not being the headlining act.
To date, the band have independently released a live E.P. of their performance at Worthing’s 2008 Battle of the Bands, organised by Cravin' Tunes, of which they came 3rd. BTE has performed at many events around Worthing and, in June 2009, they will make their Brighton debut.

Fat Chav is a punk and rock influenced thing with their own material chucked in. Brian Hartley on Guitar and Vocals Adam Pitt on bass and Scott Weller on drums.

The Light is a multinational diverse collective of musically kindred spirits with foundations in the UK and Austria. Originally formed in 2006, the band constantly strive to transcend standard music forms both in their re-workings of established material, and also in their own uniquely widescreen original songs.
The Light are musical magpies, utilising a range of obscure and unusual instrumentation in their music with ukulele, cajon, autoharp and double bass featuring in various compositions.
Each band member brings a wealth of extensive experience in live performance and songwriting to create a homogenised alternative acoustic/electric sound.
The Light's compelling live shows have been staged in various unique environments from folk music festivals to playing on a stage made of snow atop an Alp!
The band's interpretations of lifes' many twists and turns frequently draws-in the good-natured real-world observational humour of it's members - as any fan of our live shows will tell you.
Lets face it, there is never any harm in seeing things in a new Light!

The Lullabies are a four piece band based in brighton.
Formed in the early part of 09 they take their influences from a long list of early 90's american rock as well as classic british artists of the 70's.
Don't be suprised to hear some catchy vocals that set them apart from other modern rock acts.

Brian, Frankie and Phil joined Mick to play half a dozen of Micks own songs at last years LA Pebbles music festival, they had such a great time they decided to stay together.
They then began working on a full set, and played their first show on New Years Eve at THE GLOBE’ LA.
Again they had a great time, and were kindly invited back for a once a month show for the rest of the year.
This has been a superb opportunity for the band showcasing new songs, and they are very grateful to Michelle’ Tony and all the crew at The Globe for looking after them so well.

The Pitt Sisters
Susie, Sally and Sam have been singing together since they were young. Thier first recorded 'First Take' came out in 1982, which prompted their appearence in ' Hey Look, That's Me' (BBC 1 - south) with Brother Adam, an accomplished muscian and music producer.
Later they were asked by Creole records to appear in the video for the single 'Place in the Sun' with Sinita, Erasure, Hot Chocolate, and other stars for the Jamaican hurricane appeal. They were filmed by MTV and had other apperences on Going Live (BBC 1) and Def 2 (BBC 2).
In 1989 they recorded an album with Jess Conrad, followed by a second a few years later. They were in Jess Conrads Showbiz XI football team, travelling all over the country for 14 years.
The girls are very popular in Wales where they toured with the Stan Boardman Show and the Batchelors.
Today they have a very wide audience and can lay several different types of music to cater for any venue.

April 2008 saw Nikki Smash, Steve Golder and Ben Knopfler get together and form an 'Alternative Post Grunge Riff-Metal outfit' Combining together Nikki's badass dark riffs and energy, Ben's hard hitting solid drumming and Steve's cool style and groove they have created a unique badass rock sound!
Sniffin The Bitch
STB consist of Sally, lead singer, Kevin, lead guitarist, Richard, rhthym guitarist, Howard bass guitarist and Mark on Drums. The band do a variety of rock songs from bands like The Rasmus, Nirvana, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Rage Against The Machine, Linkin Park and lots more, they have even started writing their own songs.
